District Hosts A Panel Discussion on Cell Phones, Social Media and Student Wellness

April 5, 2024 -- On Thursday, April 4, 2024, Shaker Heights Schools hosted a Community Conversation on Cell Phones, Social Media and Student Wellness. The event featured panelist presentations and an audience question and answer session. The panelists were Dr. Megan Moini, a board-certified pediatrician, internist and obesity medicine specialist; Nancy Schaumburg, a Bellfaire SAY social worker at Shaker Heights High School; Reginald Williams, Esq., an attorney and the hearing and discipline officer at Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools; and Jasmine Venson, assistant principal at Woodbury Elementary School. The event was moderated by counseling department chairs Kelly Bailey and Shaunna Bonner.
